At the forum, Liu Zhenzhong briefed the participants on development plans and arrangements under China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, the core connotation of fostering and practicing a sound view of political performance, as well as the livelihood projects launched by the CFPD in students’ home countries. He encouraged the students to cherish their study experience in China, keenly perceive China’s development momentum, act as envoys for people-to-people connectivity, regard CFPD as their home in China, and keep in regular contact.
Wu Wei fully affirmed the progress and achievements made in the early stage of the program. He hoped all students to devote themselves to their studies, attain academic accomplishments, and become a solid bridge for China-foreign friendly exchanges and people-to-people connectivity.
Liu Hang spoke highly of the event, expressed gratitude to CFPD and the Beijing Tanoto Foundation for their support, and looked forward to more such exchange activities in the future.

The program students took turns to share their reflections and gains from academic studies and campus life in Tsinghua University. They all agreed that the program has played an important role in strengthening their professional capabilities and comprehensive quality. Meanwhile, they spoke highly of and sincerely admired China’s development and construction achievements in recent years. Based on their personal experience, the students also put forward constructive suggestions on further optimizing the training mechanism and improving the curriculum system for IMPA-FL.
Cultural Experience: Calligraphy Aroma Blends with Dumpling Fragrance, Embracing Cultural Heritage
Following the forum, a Chinese cultural experience event was held. Hao Zhijian, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the Founder of Zhijian Calligraphy, started with the evolution of the Chinese character Ma (Horse). He gave an in-depth yet easy-to-understand explanation of the historical heritage behind Chinese characters, and presented the students with the character Fu (Luck) that symbolizes good fortune. Full of enthusiasm, students picked up writing brushes and carefully wrote down their Chinese names. They immersed themselves in the beauty of Chinese calligraphy through every stroke and structure.
During the dumpling-making session, everyone sat around together. They personally took part in the whole process from kneading dough, rolling out wrappers to folding dumplings, crafting their own taste of China. They also watched the dumplings being cooked up close with great curiosity. The venue was filled with cheerful laughter the whole time, creating a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere.
This event organically integrated in-depth forum exchanges with vivid cultural experiences. It not only deepened the friendship among all participants, but also allowed international students to gain deeper intuitive understanding of and emotional resonance with Chinese culture by experiencing Chinese traditions and everyday life.
