Chinese Calligraphy Links Hearts Worldwide Culture Exchange Opens New Chapters—CFPD’s Themed Party Day for China-Africa People-to-People & Cultural Exchanges Time：2026/02/10

      On February 8, the Party Branch of the China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) organized a themed Party Day activity at the Beijing Guochuang Academy. Themed on "Calligraphy links hearts worldwide, culture exchange opens new chapters", the event closely seized the historic opportunity of the “2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges”. Guided by Party building and bonded by culture, it vividly practiced Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, injecting vibrant strength from people-to-people diplomacy into the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

      The event was held in a warm yet solemn atmosphere. The core spirit of President Xi Jinping’s congratulation letter to the “2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges” and those highly relating documents has been studied in depth by the Party members of the CFPD. Members from the CFPD's Party branch and the Beijing Guochuang Academy held exchanges on "Party Building Leadership and Mutual Learning among Civilizations"in-depth, jointly exploring how to better serve as envoys of people-to-people bonds at the backdrop of China-Africa people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

   

Comrade Liang Xinying, a retired senior Party member of the CFPD and the President of Beijing Guochuang Academy, shared with deep affection his personal experiences and insights based on culture vector in spreading Chinese culture and promoting dialogue between Chinese and foreign civilizations to developing countries, especially African countries, through the medium of Chinese calligraphy and painting. Between brush and ink, there flows not only the rhythm of art but also the profound emotion of connecting hearts.

All members unanimously stated that they would take this themed Party Day as a new starting point, take the “2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges” as an opportunity, and promote the integration of the Party building work with mutual learning among civilizations in-depth. In the future, the CFPD will continue to uphold its original aspiration, continuously broaden the path of China-Africa people-to-people bonds with culture as a bridge, and let the flower of China-Africa friendship bloom more brilliantly through mutual learning and exchanges.
