The Project for Donating Livelihood Supplies to Balochistan,Pakistan Is Progressing Smoothly Time：2026/01/22

The project for donating livelihood supplies to Balochistan, Pakistan, jointly implemented by China Foundation for Peace and Development(CFPD) and Friends of China Forum (FOCF), has completed the distribution of supplies and allocation of funds for the first phase.

This project with the aim to deepen the traditional friendship between the peoples of China and Pakistan, focused on local livelihood needs, and provided practical assistance to disadvantaged groups. Funded by CFPD, the project precisely targeted vulnerable groups in Balochistan facing food shortages, including women, children, and daily wagelaborers. A total of 1,700 food aid packages were distributed in the first phase, effectively alleviating the urgent needs of the beneficiaries.

The local beneficiaries highly praised this assistance initiative and expressed their sincere gratitude for the profound friendship of the Chinese people. The donation ceremony was featured in special reports by multiple local mainstream media outlets, including Pakistan Television Corporation.

Pakistan is a key country for CFPD's international public welfare cooperation. In Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, multiple livelihoodand public welfare projects have been implemented to date, with acumulative investment exceeding 10 million RMB. These initiatives have played a positive role in deepening the traditional friendship between China and Pakistan and enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples.
