The ResearchTeam of the "Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship Organization" came to CFPD for discussion and exchange Time：2025/05/21

On May 20th, H.E. Mr. Kim Rithy, a member ofCambodian People's Party Central Committee, Governor of Preah Vihear Province, and Chairman of Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship, led a delegation to visit CFPD office and had discussionsand exchanges on cooperation between the two sides. Liu Zhenzhong, Deputy Secretary General of CFPD, and Mrs. Zhao Meiling,Initiator of the “Silk Road Happiness” Special Fund, attended the symposium.

Liu Zhenzhong stated that China and Cambodia are friendly neighbors and even ironclad friends. Cambodia is the most important project country for the Foundation and also the country with the largest fund in public welfare and charitableprojects. In the current ever-changing international situation, China and Cambodia have always been standing on the front row of building a community with a shared future for mankind. The relationship between China and Cambodia lies on people and rely on people. The Foundation will strengthen cooperation with the YHCCF under the guidance of the IDCPC, and make greater contributions to enhancing the people to people exchanges between China and Cambodia. 

H.E. Mr. Kim Rithy stated that the senior generation of leaders from Cambodia and China have laid a solid foundation for the development of bilateral relations, and the friendship between Cambodia and China has deeply rooted in people's hearts. The YHCCF was founded to promote communication and cooperation between the youth of the two countries in the fields of economy, trade, culture and education. We hope to strengthen cooperation with the CFPD in the fields of health, infrastructure, and digital technology, and to build more communication platforms for the youth of the two countries, especially for young entrepreneurs. We wish to further promote mutual understanding between the two peoples and inherit the friendship from generation to generation.

Zhao Meiling shared the cooperation experience between the WEDS.AA and relevant institutions in Cambodia, and stated that in the future, she will continue to actively promote cooperation with Cambodian organizations in areas such as women's and children's development and education, and help promote the all-round development of China-Cambodia friendly relations.

We two sides have reached a preliminary consensus on hosting the 2025 "Silk Road People-to-people Connectivity" China-Cambodia Friendship Carnival in Cambodia, stating that we will further enrich the content of the event and jointly create a high-quality and high-standard platform for cultural exchanges between China and Cambodia.
