The Handover Ceremony of Donation of COVID-19 Antigen Test Reagent from China Foundation for Peace and Development to Cambodian Senate was held in Cambodia Time：2022/12/28

The handover ceremony of donation of 700,000COVID-19 antigen test reagent from China Foundation for Peace and Development to Cambodian Senate was held in Cambodia on December 21. H.E. Mr. Dino, the Second Vice President of the Cambodian Senate, Wang Wentian, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, and Cui Chunlai, Director of the Office of the China Foundation for Peace and Development in Cambodia attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Dino expressed his sincere gratitude to the Foundation and pointed out that after the outbreak of COVID-19 in Cambodia, China adhered to the scientific pursuit of truth, worked hard to develop and produce vaccines for COVID-19, and provided them widely to countries around the world, making positive contributions to the global pandemic resistance. The donation of a large number of antigen testing reagents by the Foundation fully demonstrates the spirit of Cambodian and Chinese people to fight the pandemic with one heart, share weal and woe, and work together to fight the pandemic.

Wang Wentian said that China and Cambodia have been acting together to fight the pandemic with one heart and share a common destiny. From Prime Minister Hun Sen's "retrograde" visit to China to the first anti pandemic expert group sent by the Chinese government to Chinese neighboring countries was sent to Cambodia, and Chinese vaccines have arrived in Cambodia "like spring rain", all of which shows that China and Cambodia are true friends. Today, the China Foundation for Peace and Development donated antigen testing reagents to Cambodiaadds another highlight to China-Cambodia anti pandemic cooperation.

Cui Chunlai said that this donation from the China Foundation for Peace and Developmentshows that Chinese social organizations have contributed a responsible "Chinese power" in helping to prevent and control the Cambodian pandemic, and further consolidated the public opinion foundation of China-Cambodia true friends and shared a future.

Ms. Somba, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of Cambodia, and H.E. Hon Onzal,the Secretary General of the Senate of Cambodia, jointly attended the above activities.
