Chai Wenrui, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Visited the Mongolia-China Friendship Cancer Prevention and Early Detection CenterProject Funded by the CFPD Time:2022/07/18

On July 6, Chai Wenrui, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, together with Mongolian Health Minister Enkhboldand others, went to the National Center for Maternal and Child Health of Mongolia to check the progress of the Mongolia-China Friendship Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Center funded by the China Foundation for Peace and Development.

The Mongolia-China Friendship Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Centerproject is the sixth children's clinic in Mongolia funded by China Foundation for Peace and Development and implemented in cooperation with the Mongolian "Khangarid Development Center" NGO under the care and support of the ruling parties of the two countries. It mainly provides embryonic chromosome screening, diagnosis and treatment and other services for cancer children.

Chai Wenrui said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors. China has always attached great importance to relations with Mongolia, encouraged and supported Chinese friendly social societies to implement livelihood projects in Mongolia, and conveyed the friendly feelings of the Chinese people. He hoped that the project could effectively supplement the shortage of medical resources in relevant areas of Mongolia, and make new contributions to protecting the health of Mongolian children and promoting the friendship between the Chinese and Mongolian people. China will continue to implement the friendly policy towards Mongolia, create more friendship demonstration projects, and benefit the two countries and peoples.

Enkhboldexpressed gratitude to China for its strong support for the people's livelihood and economic development of Mongolia, and said that the China Foundation for Peace and Development has implemented many projects benefiting the people in Mongolia in the past 10 years, especially the five children’s clinics that it has helped to build, which have played an important role in protecting the health of Mongolian children and made important contributions to the treatment of patients and the fight against the epidemic in the special period of the pandemic. After the center is completed, it will effectively improve the survival rate of children with cancer and improve the population quality of Mongolia. Mongolia is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with the China Foundation for Peace and Development, deepen bilateral relations and better benefit the people of both sides.
