The Signing Ceremony of China-Nicaragua Friendship Special Education School Renovation Project Was Held Online. Time:2022/08/29

On the morning of August 26, the signing ceremony of the China-Nicaragua Friendship Special Education School Renovation Project was held online. Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of the China Foundation for Peace and Development, Chen Xi, Chinese Ambassador to Nicaragua, and Herrera, Minister of Education of Nicaragua, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Wang Hua said that with the support and coordination of the Chinese Embassy in Nicaragua, the Foundation has cooperated with the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education to carry out theChina-Nicaragua Friendship Special Education School Renovation Project, repairing a special education school in Nicaragua and providing corresponding teaching tools and living facilities.We hope that, through our joint efforts, we can provide more comfortable learning environment for children and better working conditions for teachers as soon as possible. We are willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with Nicaragua and continue to deepen friendly cooperation in relevant fields.

Chen Xi said that, after the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nicaragua, the two countries have made important progress in their exchanges and cooperation in various fields. The signing of the cooperation agreement between the China Foundation for Peace and Development and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Nicaragua is a vivid witness of the friendly cooperation between the two peoples. The Chinese Embassy in Nicaragua is willing to play a role as a bridge and work with our friends to implement the project well.

Herrera expressed heartfelt thanks for the assistance of the China Foundation for Peace and Development and the friendship of the Chinese people, and expressed the hope to further deepen bilateral exchanges and cooperation and make greater contributions to promoting the friendship between the two peoples.
