China Foundation for Peace and Development and CCTV International Network Co., Ltd. Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement. Time：2021/08/18

    On the morning of August 18, the signing ceremony between China Foundation for Peace and Development and CCTV International Network Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing. Xu Jianguo, Secretary General of CFPD, and Qian Wei, Chairman and Party Secretary of CCTV, signed the contract on behalf of them.

    Before the signing ceremony, Secretary General Xu Jianguo and Chairman Qian Wei had a discussion and exchange, introduced their respective situations, and conducted an in-depth discussion on how to give full play to their respective advantages and jointly promote Sino foreign exchanges and cooperation.

    Xu Jianguo said that CCTV is an internationally famous media. He hopes that the cooperation between them can talk about China's stories, promote the people's connection between China and relevant countries, and play a positive role in promoting it.

    Qian Wei said that CFPD can build national strategy of “Belt and Road”, and spread the "credible, lovely and respectable image of China" effectively, relying on the CCTV's media platform, operation, service and credibility.

    Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of the CFPD, Fang Zheng, Director of Technology Business Development Department of CCTV Network, Zheng Junjie and Yang Xiaokun, Deputy Directors, were present at the event.
