Secretary General Xu Jianguo Meets With Ambassador of Laos to China Time：2020/12/30

    On December 22, Xu Jianguo, Secretary General of China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) met with H.E. Mrs. KhamphaoErnthavanh, Ambassador of Laos to China, accompanied with her delegation.

    Secretary General Xu Jianguo briefed about CFPD and its people-to-people welfare projects in Laos. Ambassador KhamphaoErnthavanh remarked that China and Laos are friendly neighbors interlinked by mountains and rivers. The two sides support and cooperate closely in the fields of culture, economy, education, national defense and security. She spoke highly of the CFPD as well as the cooperated people-to-people livelihood projects have executed in Laos, and made suggestions on the CFPD's future projects in Laos. She hopes that the NGOs between China and Laos could continue to strengthen cooperation, so as to benefit more local people in Laos.

    Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of CFPD, SalermxayThathongsak, Political Counsellor of the Embassy, PhoxayThepvilayvong, Cultural and Educational Counsellor of the Embassy, were presented in the meeting.
