China Foundation for Peace and Development Donates Epidemic Prevention Materials to Nepal Time：2020/08/28

    On August 3, China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) donated 150000 Disposable Medical Masks（Non-Sterile）to the Embassy of Nepal in China. H.E. Mr. Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, Ambassador of Nepal to China, Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of CFPD and among others, attended the donation event.

    Wang Hua remarked that at the beginning in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, the Chinese people received encouragement, support and material assistance from friendly countries including Nepal. We are grateful and will remember all those sincere help. He said that CFPD was honored for being able to donate of 150000 Disposable Medical Masks（Non-Sterile) to Nepal today. For which it is desired to do better job in helping the brotherhood Nepalese people to overcome the epidemic. In order to promote in-depth development ties of bilateral relations, CFPD is looking forward to having more hand-in-hand cooperation with NGOs strengthened between China and Nepal.

    H.E. Mr. Mahendra Bahadur Pandey expressed his heartfelt-thanks on behalf of the Nepalese people to the CFPD for the masks donation. Nepal and China are good neighbors and brothers. The friendship and mutual support between Nepal and China in the fight against the covid-19 has profoundly interpreted what is really meant to be “A Friend in Need is A Friend Indeed” for the brother neighborhood. Sincerely wish that NGOs in Nepal and China will further deepen exchanges and cooperation to benefit the two peoples.
