Deputy Secretary General Wang Hua meets with Panamanian Ambassador to China Time：2020/09/16

On September 16, 2020, Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of the China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD), met with Leonardo Kam, Panamanian Ambassador to China, and his delegation. They happily recalled the process of acquaintance and cooperation in promoting the development of bilateral relations, and they discussed the issues of common interest and the direction of future cooperation.

Deputy Secretary General Wang Hua introduced the basic information of the CFPD, and he said that Ambassador Gan Lin's visit has essentially opened a new chapter of non-governmental exchanges between the CFPD and Panama. He hopes to play a positive role in promoting friendly cooperation in culture, education and people to people exchanges between China and Panama.

Ambassador Gan Lin expressed his gratitude for China's assistance to Panama during the outbreak and hoped to learn more experience from China in the post epidemic period. Gan Lin also said that he is willing to carry out active cooperation with the CFPD, enhance the friendly feelings between the people of Panama and China, and make new efforts to consolidate and deepen the development of bilateral relations.
