The Expansion project of China-Pakistan Government Middle School Faqeer Colony Gwadar was Successfully Completed and Handed Over Time：2020/07/01

On June 24, 2020, the Expansion project of China-Pakistan Government Faqeer Colony Middle School Building in Gwadar aided by China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) was successfully completed and handed over to the local education department. The project supervision party Gwadar Development Authority, the school representative and the contractor CCCC-FHDI Engineering Company jointly checked the project and signed the Taken-over certificate. After the completion of the expansion, the school will cover an area of 1,600 square meters, with two teaching buildings and supporting activity venues, which can accommodate nearly 1,000 students, and when the school is put into use, it will greatly improve the basic education facilities in the area.

The project signed an agreement in September 2019, laid the foundation and officially started construction in November. As the only basic education school built in the "China- Pakistan Economic Corridor", the project has been warmly concerned and strongly supported by the Chinese and Pakistan governments, Chinese embassies and consulates in Pakistan, Chinese enterprises, local people and media. Since the start of the project, facing various extremely unfavorable conditions, such as the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic, shortage of construction materials and construction personnel and serious safety risks, CCCC-FHDI Engineering Company arranged comprehensive plans and adopted a number of effective measures to manage the project. The project quality and construction schedule are effectively guaranteed, the project was completed ahead of schedule， which was highly praised by all parties.
