Poverty-alleviation Projects in Myanmar Time:2019/09/30
From September 18 to 21, 2019, a delegation led by Secretary General Xu Jianguo went to Myanmar for a study tour on poverty alleviation projects. Ahead of it, on Sept 17th, the working group of CFPD went to Yunnan Province, to visit the International Poverty Reduction and Development Center of the Yunnan Poverty Alleviation Office to learn about its poverty alleviation experience in Myanmar. During his stay in Myanmar, Secretary General Xu Jianguo held talks with Myanmar Alinyaung Foundation, Department of Rural Development of Myanmar, Togetherness, and Nay Oke Foundation. He also led field trips to the Yunnan-aided pilot project of poverty reduction in Naypyidaw, and rural villages in Yangon recommended by Myanmar partner.
