Signing Ceremony of Philippines-China Friendship Water Pump Stations Project was Held in Davao City Time:2017/08/01
On July 14, 2017, the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement(MOA)and the Agreement of the Project of Philippines-China Friendship Water Pump Stations sponsored by China Foundation for Peace and Development(CFPD) was held in Davao City in the Philippines.
The signing cerenmoy was attended by Yu Xiaoxuan, Executive Secretary-General of CFPD, Sarah Duterte, Mayor of Davao City Government of the Philippines, April Marie C. Dayap, Councilor of Davao City, Jesse C. Agbulos, Director General of TEAM Humanity and representatives of more than 50 locals. Yu Xiaoxuan firstly signed the MOA with Sarah Duterte, and then proceeded to sign the Agreement of the Project with Jesse C. Agbulos, Director General of TEAM Humanity. After the ceremony, CFPD working group paid a field visti to Barangay Tibungco on the outskirt of Davao City.
According to the Agreement, CFPD shall be sponsoring the construction of three water pump stations located separately at the three different villages. The projects are to be de facto executed by TEAM Humanity under supervision of the Davo City government. The drinking water safty issue for a number of more than 8000 locals shall be effectively solved after the completion of the project. The project is estimated to be accomplished and put into use in the end of this year.
