China Foundation for Peace and Development’s representative office in Cambodia is Officially Established Time:2017/09/12
On September 12, 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia officially approved the establishment of an office in Cambodia by China Foundation for Peace and Development (referred to as CFPD). On the 19th, CFPD held a launch ceremony for the newly established representative office in Cambodia. More than 30 distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including Kermeat Viseth, the Chairman of the Cambodian Civil Society Alliance Forum, Doung Virorth, Vice Chairman of CSAF, and representatives from Cambodian NGOs and Chinese-funded enterprises. Kermeat Viseth together with Liu Kaiyang, authorized representative of CFPD and deputy secretary general of China NGO Network for International Exchange, unveiled the representative office. This representative office in Cambodia is the first overseas office of CFPD, which is located at No. 24, 590 Street, Phnom Penh City. After its establishment, it will help CFPD to further strengthen contacts and cooperation with local civil society organizations and play an active role in expanding China-Cambodia civil cooperation.
