CPEC Center of Excellence(CCE) Successfully Completed Time：2018/08/07

On August 5,2018, the Inauguration Ceremony of CPEC Center of Excellence(CCE) funded by China Foundation for Peace and Development(CFPD) was held in Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan Province. Mr. Wang Hua, Deputy Secretary General of CFPD , Mr. Achakzai, governor of Balochistan and Mr.Bullidi，Executive Secretary of  Minisitry of Labour and Ruman Resources attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Mr. Achakzai expressed his gratitude to CFPD for bringing Chinese friendship and development experience to Balochistan by conducting livelihood projects. He believed that the establishment of CCE would play an important role in improving the vocational skills of local people, promoting corridor construction and enhancing bilateral friendly exchanges and cooperation.

At the ceremony，a memorandum of understanding（MOU） was signed between CFPD, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Science(BUITEMS) and Henan University of Technology. The three parties would jointly perform the follow-up operation and management of CCE, carry out various training and educational projects and promote exchanges and cooperation between educational and scientific researchers of the two countries under this MOU.

CCE project was started in July 2017 and completed in August 2018. The construction area is about 1800 square meters. It is the first public welfare project supported by Chinese social organization in Quetta. It aims to train professional and technical personnel for the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and improve the competitiveness and employment rate of the local population.
