The Handover Ceremony of Philippine-China Friendship Bolton Elementary School Held Successfully Time:2019/04/10
On April 3, 2019, Deputy Secretary-General Wang Hua with his assistant attended the handover ceremony of Philippine-China Friendship Bolton Elementary School on campus at Bolton central elementary school in Davao City. The handover ceremony honored by his Excellency attendees include Consul General Li Lin, Consulate General of the P.R.C. in Davao, Atty. Zuleika T. Lopez, representative of Mayor of Davao Government of the Philippines, City Administrator of the City Government of Davao, Teresita Del Valle, Chief of SGOD, Emma Camporedondo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of Davao City, April Marie C. Dayap, Councilor of Davao City as well as representatives of students, teachers and parents of more than 70 people.
The said project started in 2017. CFPD agreed to raise a fund of US$500,000 to sponsor the project for the construction of a 3-storey school teaching-building with 9 classrooms on campus at Bolton Central Elementary School in Davao City. It is said that the project of the teaching building should be equipped with backboards, desks, chairs, lamps, fans, audio-visual equipment and so forth. During the handover ceremony, Principal Alejandro G. Curay said that the modern design and high-quality hardware facilities of the new teaching-building have improved children's learning ability and stimulated comprehensive update and improvement of the school learning system. The new teaching-building can accommodate more than 450 students to have their learning classes taken at the same time.
