A Delegation of 2016 Mongolian New Media Development Senior Symposium Representatives to China Time：2016/08/17

The Mongolian New Media Development Senior Seminar Delegation, consisted of 25 people and led by the Head of Khangarid Assciation Mr. Ganbold Ganbayar, visited China at the invitation of China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD). The delegation is formed by senior managers, editors and journalists of 19 Mongolian mainstream media, including Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB), Ulaanbaatar Broadcasting System (UBS), Channel 25, Mongolnews, Unea, etc.   

During the visit, the delegation focused on topics such as political, economic and social development of contemporary China, the 13^th Five Year Plan, development of China’s media, the “Belt and Road” Initiative and Sino-Mongolian relations. The delegation held discussions with experts from CFPD, Renmin University of China, CCTV, Institute of Economic Research in National Development, and Reform Commission, as well as visits to People.com’s headquarter, Letv, China Daily, and Aluminum Cooperation of China. Except for Beijing, the delegation also visited Changsha, Hunan Province. The delegation paid visits to HunanTV, Sany Heavy Industry Corporation to have a profound understanding of local media and regional socio-economic development.
