At the invitation of China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD), a delegation of Cambodian Sustainable Development High-level symposium representatives visited China from April 19 to 26, 2016. The delegation consists of 16 people and is headed by Mr. Kung Phoak, Co-founder and President of Cambodia Institute for Strategic Studies (CISS).
During their visit in China, the delegation participated in the Sino-Cambodian Symposium on “Promoting Non-governmental Exchange & Expanding Bilateral Friendly Cooperation” that sponsored by CFPD. Both Chinese and Cambodian representatives had an in-depth discussion on opportunities and challenges that created by the development of China-Cambodian friendship with relevant experts and scholars from China Center for Contemporary World Studies, International Relations Institute of Peking University, Silk Road Research Institute and School of International Business of Beijing Foreign Studies University, Overseas Chinese History Research Institute of China and etc. The delegation also visited Beijing Tangjialing Village, China Road and Bridge Corporation, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, BON TV Station, Wuhan Baibuting Community, Wuhan Huagong Genuine Optics Tech Corporation, Huazhong University of Science & Technology Press and so forth.
Beijing Foreign Studies University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology cooperated with CFPD to have arranged related activities for the symposium in Beijing and Wuhan respectively.
