China’s Agriculture Experts to Cambodia to Exchange Experiences in Phnom Penh

From December 3 to 4, 2015, China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD) cooperated with Cambodian Ranariddh Foundation (RF) and Union Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC) in holding the Chinese Agriculture Professors Visit Cambodia for Exchange Activities in Phnom Penh. Four Chinese agriculture professors discussed with 30 agricultural experts from Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Ka mpong Thom, etc. China’s experts also presented lectures in Cambodia Prekleap National College of Agriculture. The Deputy Secretary General Yu Xiaoxuan, the representative of RF Nhep Bunchin, the political adviser of UYFC Sok Keang attended the activities and addressed a speech.
Yu Xiaoxuan noted that agriculture is the issue concerned by China and Cambodia both. This kind of exchanges could promote experience of farmers of us two countries and help us to find a direction of cooperation. Nhep Bunchin and Sok Keang said that agriculture is the most important sector of Cambodia; Cambodian farmers would take this opportunity to learn advanced knowledge and technology from China’s professors and practice afterwards.
Cambodian media reported positively on these exchanges.
