“21st Century Silk Road” Forum in Thailand

Vice Chairman of CFPD, Li Ruogu led a delegation visiting Thailand for the “21st Century Silk Road” Forum on November 25th-28th of 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Forum was co-sponsored by three parties, i.e. the CFPD, the Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association and the Bankok-Thonburi University.
The heads of those three, i.e. Mr. Li Ruogu, Dr. Bhokin Bhalakula (former President of the House of Representatives, former Deputy Prime Minister, President of Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association) and Mr. Veera, Minister of Culture, who delivered keynote speeches in the Forum. It demonstrated that more than 300 people from academia, research institute and enterprises participated in the Forum, under which the opportunities in Sino-Thailand cooperation for “Study and Carry forward the Spirit of the Ancient Maritime Silk Road” and “mutual contribution to the building of the 21st century Maritime Silk Road” was focused and envisioned.
During their stay in Thailand, Mr. Li Ruogu together with the delegation paid courtesy calls on Professor Pornpetch Vichitcholchai, President of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand, Mr. Veera Rojpojanarat, Minister of Culture, and Mme. Kobkarn Suriyasat Wattanavrangkul, minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand.
