Tajikistan New Media Development Seminar in China Time：2015/07/02

Mr. Ato Jef, Director-General of the Information Department of the Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan led a 19-member new-media delegation, consisting of chairman of the Journalist Association, news officers of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, editors and reporters from mainstream media and well-known writers paid a visit to China at invitation of CFPD from June 14^th to June 27^th, 2015.

Mr. SUN Jiazheng, Vice-Chairman of the 11^th National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Council of CFPD, who met with the delegation and attended the symposium. In which the delegation exchanged in-depth views and experiences in professional fields with experts and scholars from CFPD, Xinhua News Agency, Peking University, Renmin University. In additional to that, the delegation also had field visits to China Radio International (CRI), Xinhua News Agency Mobile Television, the People's Net during their stay in Beijing,.

After all activities in Beijing, the delegation had a study tour to Ji’nan, Binzhou and Xi’an in order to have a touch-view on China’s innovative construction for cities, enterprises of “go global”, water conservancy and environmental protection, new countryside construction. In Xi’an, the delegation was enabled to grapple with more China’s open policy imperatives and initiatives for the Westward forward development and strengthening cooperation in Central Asia.

In general, the vast majority members lauded, “we are delighted to have this opportunity in visiting China, during which the hospitality and friendship of Chinese people we have experienced so far is the most impressive and appealing”. They said they would like to introduce their people objectively about the current development of China and share the first-hand de facto China-visiting experience with their people once back home.
