Mongolia Delegation for New Media Development Seminar Visiting China Time:2015/04/08

Mr. Ganbayar, Head of Public Media and Technology Department of MPP, took the lead of a 20-member delegation for New Media Development seminar visiting China at the invitation of CFPD from March 25th to April 3rd, 2015. The delegation is comprised of senior editors, media professionals, journalists and experts from Mongolian TV stations, online media, websites and newspapers and so forth.

 

Mr. LIU Hongcai, Vice Minister of the International Department of CPC met with the delegation during their stay in Beijing. A broad spectrum of topics that was focused and discussed, such as public opinion expression in China, environmental protection and urbanization, the “One Belt and One Road (OBOR)” initiative, Sino-Mongolian relation and China’s Media Industry development. With the backdrop of these, the delegation advocated and adhered to level out many consensuses on the status quo about the scope and size of how and to what extent media can better serve the general public more coherently and effectively in conjunction with up-to-date new media development during the seminar with professionals and experts from International Department of CPC, CFPD, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations and Renmin University of China.

 

The delegation also paid a field visit to CCTV, mobile TV of Xinhua News Agency, People.cn among other agencies. Beside Beijing, the delegation had a study tour to Qingdao and Qufu in the attempt to grasp more knowledge and gain deep understanding of urbanization, environmental protection, cultural development of local communities and Chinese traditional culture.
